emily shelton a dream isn't a dream if there isn't a chance of it not happening in life Black boots covered by blue levi jeans. Emily skipped towards the stable. She had finished her studying and had decided to just relax for the rest of the day, which meant of course she would spend the rest of the day talking, riding and grooming Clem, her warm blood mare. Once inside of the stable, she looked around, it was clean cut and pretty. One of the best in state, not Emily's choice for sure but surprisingly her mother had chosen, atleast that was what Megan had told her, but Emily had her doubts about it. Stopping on the third stall door to the left she smiled as her red roan mare whinnied a greeting. Hello, Clem! Emilys voice carried, it smooth and like water rolling over rocks. Her eyes lit up every time she saw Clem, they had been togather since Clem was only 2 and she was now 8. Sighing she hooked her lead to Clems halter, nowing she didn't need to but should. Once Clam had her english saddle on and bridle, she led her into the arena, mounting she sighed. She felt like the queen of england when she rode Clem. Mostly because no one could tell her what to do or how to do it up here, she was her own person. No one ever understood that about her. Urging Clem into a smooth loop, she moved easily with her, like wind tho her mane, wipping tho the tall grass of wyoming, or montana.
Her shoulders relaxed, her mind cleared. She hadn't felt this feel in ages, remembering all the days she had just mounted and rode off when she was mad, back then she didn't have all the responibility that she had now. She never new what a adult had to do, she was never prepared for all the bills, she had been "protected" to that side of life. With one swift movement with her legs Clem came to a smooth walk, her sides barley moving, she leaned down to stroke the neck of Clem. Good Girl

Jarod Carlyle His pace was steady as he walked towards the stables, the brisk air pulled through his shaggy hair, but it felt good against his skin. Jarod has his university hoodie on and he placed his hands inside the pocket. He was looking forward to have a nice relaxing ride on Punkin, his beautiful dappled gray Hanoverian. The stables came into view and Jarod smiled. He passed by the arena and saw a girl in there on what looked like a warm blood. He hoped she wouldn’t mind some company.
Walking into the stables, the familiar scent comforted him and all his muscles relaxed. Punkin’s head was over his stable door, and nickered in welcoming. Jarod reached out and rubbed Punkin’s nose, “Hey there big boy. You ready to work today?” Punkin bobbed his head up and down as if saying yes, and Jarod got to work grooming him. Once he was finished, Jarod tacked Punkin up in his black jumping saddle and bridle. He lead the stallion outside and to the gate of the arena. Pulling his muscular body up into the saddle, Jarod shifted himself until he was comfortable. Focusing his brown eyes onto the girl and her horse and when he called out, his voice was deep and gruff, “Do you mind if I join you in here?”

Heels Down, and Shoulders back, Emily sighed. Taking in a deep breath of the sweet scent of hay, and horses. Many would think that was gross but if you had a horse, the only friend you could talk to and any subject, you would love the smell also. Smiling slightly to herself, she let Clem have her neck. Watching as she tucked it close to her chest and did a show like prance, Emily gave a hearty chuckle. Silly girl she said softly as she fiddled with her mane untill she noticed a mael walk towards a impressive color dappled horse. Smiling she always loved to see how people took care of there animals.
Forcusing back on Clem, she tucked into another deep breath. Forgetting all her worrys, all her fears. The fears that drove her mad, of failure, of Betrayal. Of, well everything. Call her crazy but she needed to know she belonged to be able to stay in this life of hers. She needed to know someone needed her in this town, in this collage. Shaking her head, she almost missed when the new comer had asked. "“Do you mind if I join you in here?” Smiling to herself, she turned to face him, Her copper hair and blue eyes forcused on his features.
I don't see why not came her simply yet charming answer. Her voice quiet but hearable. Her words held more secerts then she cared to share, but only the slighest person who new her would hear the untold stories of her childhood. How she became the grown up in her life, how she became the mother she always wanted for herself or the father she always wanted to teach her how to drive at 15. Shaking her head, she smiled at the stranger. As she turned the next corner right before comming up to the gate, she halted Clem a few feet away from the other new. Not because Clem would do anything, but she wasn't sure what the other horse may do.
Im Emily Shelton she said, looking at him. Deep blue grey eyes scanning his features, seizing him up, reading his history. No, No, of course she couldn't read his history but she always loved to try to see if she could guess what there childhood was like, and so far out of all the people she had meet, she had been wrong on each and everyone, unless of course they where lieing about there history...

Jarod Carlyle Punkin shifted his weight as if getting impatient with just standing there. Unintentionally, Jarod let a hand fall to the stallion’s neck and rub in little circles to relax him. Jarod’s eyes stayed focused on the girl as she allowed her horse to have her neck and then prance around the arena. He could not help but smile, it was definitely a sight to see. As she stopped her horse a bit away from him, she spoke. Her answer was charming and from her tone, Jarod could take the hint that perhaps there was more to this girl than meets the eye.
Flashing a charming smile, Jarod allowed himself into the arena and Punkin pranced sideways. “My, my aren’t we full of energy today?” He chuckled and then reined in Punkin’s neck until he came to a stop. He had his eyes on his horse, that is until she introduced herself as Emily. Lifting his head up, his soft brown eyes fell onto her own blue ones. “Pleasure meeting you Emily. I’m Jarod Carlyle.” At this moment, he let his eyes sweep completely over her, taking in her face so that he could remember her in the future.
A small grin stayed on his lips and he started walking Punkin before the big oaf decided to take off. Immediately, Punkin took up the high step as he had been trained and Jarod could feel the energy built up in the horse’s muscles. My today would be exciting. As he circled around and came back upon Emily, he widened his grin, “Thanks for letting me ride with you. So what is your lovely mount’s name?” He swept his gaze over the mare and smiled, a beautiful horse indeed.
